I'm thrilled about my show at Caramel in August. I've been working to create lots of new pieces and the show will include a selection of recently completed works. The title of the show is eternal because of the infinite nature of the hearts and circles that are currently appearing my work. I'm excited that a portion of show sales will support the Loving Me Conference, sponsored by the DC Metro Chapter of the National Alumnae of Association of Spelman College. I volunteered at this year's conference in March, facilitating a workshop called 'What's Your Vision?' The girls' creativity and authenticity was so inspiring and the conference provides an opportunity for more than 100 girls (grades 8-11) to engage in positive and empowering activities. eternal will be on view at Caramel Thursday, August 30th through Friday, October 5th. Join me for the opening reception on Thursday, August 30th, 6-9pm. It's a fun artsy way to kick off Labor Day weekend and the AT&T Nation’s Football Classic festivities. The reception is free and open to the public. Click here for more information.
